The Ouray Dog Park is a beautiful, fully-enclosed dog park nestled in the charming mountain town of Ouray, Colorado. Set against breathtaking mountain and river backdrops, this dog-friendly park is the perfect spot for locals and visitors to let their pups stretch their legs and play off-leash. The clean, peaceful setting, complete with a small gravel surface, makes fetch and social time easy and fun—even during quieter times when the park sees fewer crowds. Enjoy scenic mountain and river views while your dog enjoys the open space!
This Ouray dog park features amenities like potable water and a dog dish, a bone-shaped pool/tub for water-loving canines, poop bags, and a convenient picnic table for owners to relax while their pets play. There is a small parking area for a few vehicles and ample shade from mature trees nearby, making it a great stop year-round for those seeking an off-leash retreat. Though there are no separate areas for small or large dogs, the single fenced space welcomes dogs of all sizes to play together. Visitors love the quiet, friendly atmosphere and the easy access to other park features in the area—all just a short distance from Grand Avenue and Ouray’s business district.
Beautiful view of the mountains and right beside the river!
Quite, peaceful place to bring my crazy, loud, obnoxious dog!
Ok dog park in Ouray — has water for dogs and decent size but could have more grass instead of gravel so it’s cooler / nicer on dog feet in the summer. No separate size play areas / all mixed which my dog likes but some dogs don’t.
Beautiful dog park nestled in a quaint little town. Definitely worth a stop for your pups to stretch their legs. Completely enclosed. Even if it isn’t on the way, I love to stop there for my dogs, especially in winter and you can’t beat the beautiful views. It even has a water source and a tub!
A clean location to stop and let our pup play ball. Both visits in April no other dogs around. The mountain and river views are great from the park. Water and dog dish available. A bone shaped pool/tub was on property to use and dog poo bags.
The ground is of small rocks. It has a Small parking area for a few cars or trucks. One picnic table inside fenced area. No public restroom.
