Whiteford Township Community Park
Whiteford Township Community Park is a well-maintained, spacious park in Ottawa Lake, MI, offering a variety of amenities perfect for family outings and dog-friendly activities. A great park for a nice walk. Much of the walking path is open-air, maybe one-quarter to one-third of the path is through trees/foliage. I haven’t tried the Frisbee-golf course but there are always multiple people playing. I can’t comment on the sports fields either but they seem well-maintained and are frequent venues for big games.
Great trails to walk or run. Awesome disc golf course. They will have a handicap accessible playground fall of 2023, as of right now they only have a swing set and pavilion with picnic tables.
Love all of the action and the way of how Whiteford Stoneco Community Park brings together People in the Ottawa Lake Area. An extremely vital part of my Ottawa Lake-Whiteford Township, Michigan.
Stopped by here to watch the Eclipse on April 8th. It wasn’t very crowded at all. Overall it was a good looking park to have an event such as a birthday party or any other type of family event. Very big venue
Ral nice park. Wide open and many places to walk or sit. I like to get a coffee and walk the park in nice weather. The park is well maintained and safe. Plenty of parking and always room. Unless there are a number of ball games going on at the same time, it’s fairly quiet and not super busy. Feel like you can breathe. Dog friendly. Restrooms. Picnic areas.
