A pretty large size park with lots of sports courts. There are ball diamonds (city says six of them), basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, shuffleboard courts, tennis courts and a Rocket Football area. There are two play areas for kids, one with a modern play structure and swings nearby, and another with old school pieces near the pavilion. There are three really large picnic tables under the pavilion and a few smaller ones scattered around in the park. And, the name of the park comes from the Otsego Veterans Memorial at one of the park. There’s a tank and a piece of beam from the World Trade Center at the memorial.
Always clean and well taken care of. A very nice set of softball fields. Could use some bathrooms that are open more often. Seems like when you need them most they are locked.
This park has very nice softball and basketball fields. The only downfall there isn’t any bathroom besides 2 outhouses.
Random guy in car sits here for hours. Also at North Side park. Not sure who he is or why he sits at the park. Sometimes his car is the only car. It will be parked in the grass by the north easy ball diamond. An he literally has no one come or go with him. Creepy. As a single mom. Makes me feel very unsafe.
This graveyard is haunted by 5 ghosts an adventure to add to your Halloween list. 🎃 although the Graves were not easy to find because it’s so big I’m putting together a tt that will tell the story and the location of the Graves.
