Our niece suggested a hike here while she was visiting. We took the lake trail for an easy walk and it does not disappoint. Fairly easy to navigate around and with beautiful photo opportunities it’s the perfect length for someone who just wants to get out and be active for a few minutes while they commune with nature. We’ll definitely be coming back to tackle the longer trails.
Very well maintained clearly marked hike to get lost in the woods. In a good way. The hills are not too steep, the staff nearby are friendly it’s worth a day.
A teacher colleague and I wanted a simple hike adventure with historical relevance. Boy were we delighted!😊 The guide was wonderful and witty. She shared memories and identified well over 50 different plant species with a sense of humor you didn’t realize you were walking uphill and so so far into the reserve.
Great place to hike or just walk, great place to be alone and just enjoy nature at its finest. The trails here are perfect, great place to get your steps in. The views are beautiful, flowers are amazing, great place to find solace. Most of the time that I am here I see people with headphones on, I recommend coming here and just listen to the birds serenade you, listen to the calming sound of the water flowing, listen to the wind kiss the trees…. You will find yourself here…..
