Nice and easy walk in the woods with good view. We saw a few cars in the parking lot but didn’t run into anyone. Follow the colored tags on the tree if you unsure of the trail.

Easy to get to with parking/entrance right off of 134. We did the full hike/loop, piecing together smaller trails. Note: trails are poorly marked, but it makes this a fun hike. Very muddy, lots of large puddles of water. Some interesting findings like a bone in a tree and a picture someone left behind.

Great trails to hike with a dog. Nothing strenuous. A good array of plants and flowers most of the time. A forest in the burbs! Also nice in winter.

It is a relatively easy trail with magnificent wildflora and wildlife. Please do not pick or touch the wildflowers it is illegal to do so for valid critical reasons.

Most of our native wildflora and wildlife are in the Endangered Lists due to negative human footprint and invasive species.

Take your time bring refreshments and snacks but do not eat or drink while moving, wear appropriate gear such as hiking shoes, organic bug repellents, etc.

I usually wear light (in hot weather) long pants tucked inside my socks and blouse tucked inside my pants.

Enjoy your hike!
