Veterans Memorial Park, located at 4000 N Skeel Ave in Oscoda Township, MI, is a scenic and pet-friendly destination perfect for the whole family. Another year 2025 on Memorial day, the Community raising the 50 state flags🇺🇲 and 6 territory flags🇻🇮. Along with a beautiful ceremony by Rosemary, Joe, Danny, and Cheri plus Marci and her horses. Its a peaceful time to talk and say Thank you to all our Veterans and current service members. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

This Park is a beautiful bitter reminder of those who served for our freedom of the past and those that fight for our future.
A place you should stop and reflect ….Seeing those names helps to remind us that they were people just like us, who put their lives in the line to fight for our freedoms. God Bless every single one of them!!!
The 9/11 memorial was very nice. They had almost 3,000 flags on display and many veterans and first responders attended. Next to this is a Wall similar, but much smaller scale, to the one in Washington DC. It lists the names of veterans.
