The fence around the “dog park” is about 2 feet tall. Bigger dogs can hop over without even touching the top. It’s a joke. The only dogs I see staying in the “dog park” are either tiny dogs or really fat ones that can’t jump. Oroville needs a real dog park with a real fence.

My husband & I like to bring our three dogs here! There are two sides to the fenced dog area, which we prefer since our dogs range from XS to XXL.We enjoy the beautiful scenery and time out in nature together! Although it can be busier on nice days and weekends. We recently discovered that there is a hidden geocache at this park along the walking trails in the back, which was exciting! This park could be improved by more maintenance, such as on the water fountains in the dog park. (We always bring our own water & bowls)

This is an excellent Park!I’ve been to a lot of dog parks and this one’s got everything for dogs, plenty of room for them to run and play around in and very nice picnic tables for the humans. There’s a lot of birds and squirrels and the river is so close they can cool off after they play. What more could you ask for?My two Mexican rescues had a really good time here chasing squirrels and swimming in the Feather River. They got some real quality play time and we all stood around laughing and watching them romp.

Good place to bike ride, walk, run and enjoy the scenery. Theres a small boat launch ideal for kayaking. The park was clean and well maintained, I was impressed. There was homeless people here and there, they were polite and minded their own businesses.

This place is in serious need of maintenance. Not useable. Very overgrown and they have stacked fallen trees in the back half of the park. The whole south side of Feather River park is “under Restoration” since the flooding a few years ago. Hopefully it will be finished soon.
