Really nicely shaded and kept up. There are chickens/roosters in the neighborhood behind it, so something to keep in mind if your dog reacts to the sounds. There were plenty of dog bags and a water fountain on each side.

You Yucatan Dog Park is a beautiful shaded area. They have a large dog and small dog area separated with plenty of room. In addition to the dog park, there are pavilions with grills for cookouts, a skatepark, a volleyball net, a basketball court, and a playground for the children. Also, there’s a great jogging, walking, or biking path all the way around the park. Very nice location to spend the day or a few hours.

Brought my puppy here today to the small dog area and loved it. It seemed safely closed off and was a large space for her to explore.

Not the worst, not the best.
I was in the small dog area. There is access to drinking water and poop bags, however there are tons of areas where dogs can burrow, like under the bridge and in the holes in the trees. Not great if you have a dog who loves investigating since there’s no way of knowing what lives in there. Also, I’m pretty sure some small dogs can get to the big dog side since there is a wide space under the divider. See pictures for visuals of what I’m talking about.
