Dog owners will appreciate the wide open green spaces, ample shade, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a wonderful spot for both leashed walks and relaxed picnics. Although the main bridge is currently closed for repairs, the park still offers an enjoyable circuit of paths, benches, and natural beauty—perfect for those seeking dog-friendly hiking in downtown Orlando.
Greenwood Urban Wetlands stands out for its unique collection of park amenities. There are plenty of benches for owners, picnic areas, and opportunities to watch local wildlife. Parking is primarily available on nearby streets and can vary based on the day. While there is a fenced area reported and a playground for kids, the park is not specifically divided into small and large dog areas. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing stroll with your pup, a shady retreat on a hot day, or a place to enjoy Orlando’s green spaces, Greenwood Urban Wetlands is an inviting choice for local dog lovers.
We passed this park almost every day. So this day we decided to go in and it was beautiful…..it’s made my day.
I’m not a photographer, I took these pictures with my phone, but it’s a photographer’s dream.

My newest favorite park!! Beautiful, green, clean, lots of water, peaceful, walking path all the way around, though the bridge needs repair and was closed. I saw several people fishing, lots of benches on the path. Also one of those little library boxes full of books you can borrow. Good parking. I didn’t see a restroom, though I also wasn’t looking for one. Loved it!

Great little dog friendly path and cool spot to watch aircraft fly over. Only complaints would be the mosquitoes and fire ants are bad around rainy season and sunset, and the main bridge has been closed due to damage for some time now.

We took a nice walk today around this park. There’s a community garden, mini sharing library, plenty of benches and Cypress trees, very tranquil and peaceful.
