I love that they have separate play areas for large and small dogs, as well as water fountains for both and a little pool for the pups if it gets too hot.

Getting to this dog park is a nice walk thru the Dr Phillips community park. However, once you are here, it is disappointing. Basically, it’s just a big fenced-in yard with almost NO shade, one table for dog owners to sit at, and a little plastic kid pool for the dogs. The day we were there, it was super sunny and hot (92 degrees). There were 2 other dogs, but after only about 10 minutes, they were all crowded around the picnic table under the one lone shade tree just trying to get out of the sun along with us owners. They really should invest more in shade trees, umbrellas, or shade sails….I mean, this is Florida. Seems like a no-brainer. A couple more tables or benches for human visitors would not hurt either. Adding obstacles or water features to make it more interesting, fun for the dogs, and more comfortable for the dogs and owners would be a huge bonus and make this dog park on par with the rest of the community park.

One of my favorite dog parks in Orlando. Well kept. Lots of actual grass, not dirt/mud. Water fountains, benches, nice view of the lake. Bring bugs spray though, the mosquitos are crazy

First time we go to this park and we love how big it is! That day there was no one because of the heat that it was. I don’t know if they always have pools, but that day there were 3. We’ll be back soon!🤩
