Located at 10107 Flowers Ave, Downey Dog Park is a favorite dog park in Orlando, Florida, known for its spacious off-leash areas and strong community vibe. The park’s layout includes plenty of grassy space, trees for shade, and benches for owners to relax and watch their pups. Amenities at Downey Dog Park include water fountains for humans and dogs, dog waste stations, shaded areas, and occasional plastic pools on hot days. The park is kept clean and is open year-round. Note that the park can get muddy after rain, and it’s a good idea to bring your own waste bags, as supplied bags may sometimes run out. We go to this park with our little Chihuahua. She loves playing around there and running after squirrels in the small dog park without her leash on! Every other dog owner we met so far was very nice and the park is full of life on sunny weekend days ☀️
We go here regularly and will continue to do so!

I loved the feeling walking through this park!!! Felt peaceful and relaxing. They have baseball fields, basketball court, sand volleyball courts, children’s playgrounds, picnic areas, bathrooms (very clean by the way) dog park, a lake, lots of shade and parking. This park is perfect for anything in between just taking a walk to even a family reunion. Check it out! I recommend it 100%

Recently adopted a 7-month lab mix and prior to adoption she had very little socializing with other dogs so decided to take her to this dog park since it’s near by and the first couple times she was very shy and reserved then after about the 4th time now she’s running all over the place, playing with dogs and going up to other people. It’s great because a lot of the same people will come often with their dogs since it’s close to neighborhoods so i think that has really helped my dog feel comfortable! Love this dog park

Great place to take a social and playful dog. Good people, good surrounding area. I felt safe and felt my dog was safe. She loved making new friends. Plenty of space, and both sides are rather large. Most people bring their dogs to the big dog area regardless of size. All in all, great park. I frequent this park, and recommend it to everyone.

Loving how big this park is and the different sections there are! My pups always have a blast with all the other dogs.

Pros: Water stations, potty bags, a time out pin, sectioned off space & lots of friendly pups.

Cons: Most of the time there are no potty bags available (bring your own), lots of poop everywhere, & unfortunately you MUST be on the lookout for aggressive dogs/unfriendly dogs (at times there are sketchy/irresponsible owners.)
