I hiked this train on the weekend, right after riding the stream train that’s just less than a mile away. It has beautiful view. I went this place on May, so many flowers bloomed along the train, it was beautiful. You can see the Golden Gate view on one side, and than the Orinda Lake on the other side.
Also this train is very easy, even i used dress when I hiked (i didn’t plan to hike, the idea of hiking just came spontaneously right after riding the steam train). Highly recommend to hike this place especially on spring.

I hiked this train on Monday morning after the big storm and it was still good, not too muddy. The trail is beautiful with views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge on one side and of Tilden Park and its lakes on the other side. I loved it and it is good for dogs, too since they can be off leash. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful views!!! It is decently chilly in the shade but it is a gorgeous walk that is well covered. It’s also nice that you can have dogs off leash.
