Orem Dog Park is a unique off-leash dog park located along the picturesque Provo River Parkway in Orem, Utah. The park features a large, fenced area set on a steep, rocky hillside—giving you and your furry friends a taste of rustic, mountain-like terrain. It’s an ideal spot for dogs and owners who enjoy dog-friendly hiking and scenic views, as you can soak in local wildflowers and take in the surrounding beauty while your pups play.
While the park doesn’t offer grassy areas—opting instead for rocky, gravelly surfaces—it provides ample open space for energetic dogs to run leash-free. Shade is very limited, but there are a few trees and sporadic seating near the upper part of the park. Dog-friendly amenities like a seasonal water fountain are available during warmer months, and the area is maintained during non-winter months. Please be aware that the proximity to a shooting range can make the area quite noisy at times.
