Anderson Farm County Dog Park

Anderson Farm County Dog Park is a beautifully maintained park located just south of Oregon, set in a serene prairie environment with gravel walking paths that remain mud-free. It features two separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, providing ample room to run off leash and enjoy long hikes. The park is kid-friendly with accessible entrances and parking. While it lacks wooded shaded areas, it offers a peaceful and spacious setting with native flowers and prairie grasses. Park visitors are respectful, contributing to a clean and safe environment.

Great area for different trails, like the privacy plants …wish there were a few more benches in the park, even the single seat ones, especially farthest from the doors in the large dog park. Maybe a wish list could allow fellow dog park fans to provide items needed. Also, one light in the parking area, allows a safer feeling in winter to get to the cars….there’s plugins for cars, so one streetlight should not be too difficult.
Love this park. Beautifully maintained gravel paths. Peaceful place for dogs to run off leash. Dog owners very respectful.
This is a beautiful and well maintained park in a serene prairie setting. Its large, wide open design prevents overcrowding, thereby reducing the risk of hostile interactions – human and canine alike😁! The crushed gravel walking paths keep your boots and paws mud free, and Anderson Farm apparently attracts a better class of park goers, who keep the place poop free too! The only thing missing, and the sole reason I don’t give it five stars, is that there is no wooded space to provide relief from the sun and wind. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for you and your best friend to get some exercise. In my not very humble opinion, it’s a very close second to Verona’s Prairie Moraine Park.
Beautiful dog park just south of Oregon. With two separate fenced in areas for large and small dogs, there’s ample room to run and play while enjoying a long walk around the park’s perimeter. Enjoyable any season.
Nice gravel trails go thru a prairie with a mowed grass trail on the perimeter. There is a mowed area in the middle for play with your dog. Prairie is full of native flowers in spring and summer and the prairie grasses take over as fall returns. There is a small dog area fenced off too but no prairie, just mowed grass.
Be sure to buy a permit and leash your pet while in the parking area.
