This is a great place to exercise your dog and even do a little training. Large running area in the back with a little nature walk leading from the front to the back. Tennis balls everywhere with the launchers. And of course the water area being a favorite when it’s hot out! 90% of the dogs are good but I have had to ask someone to get their dog away from mine as it was being too aggressive.

Pucci’s Park is a gift from God! We moved here two and a half years ago and have never found a dog park with complete facilities as wonderful as this! Their staff is amazing and always friendly and helpful. We send our dog to doggy daycare and little scouts a couple times a week and he just absolutely loves it. When we take him ourselves for just a number of hours, he loves swimming and they’re lakes and running around in their big field. And we’re very grateful for the pavilions with fans and spritzers that the owners have provided for both owners and dogs to get relief from summer heat and sun. This place is just the best!

I’m going to give a one star for this park. We went there the other day because Jacksonville doesn’t seem to have a good dog park and we went to see this one only to find out that my dog is not even welcomed in that park.
According to their many rules your dog has to be fixed. Otherwise the dog is not allowed in the park. Your dog also needs to get six or seven shots before he or she can be in the park mingling with other dogs which I’m super not ok with.
When we were there there were small dogs and big dogs in the same fenced in area without leashes and I’m not comfortable with that but that’s preference of the owner if they are not scared of something happening to their small dogs by the big dogs.
We saw about five I think fenced in areas there. The very first one has a small lake inside of it where dogs can jump in and cool off.
Again that’s a preference if you like your dog coming home with you super dirty in your car.
I was thinking that even if we were accepted into this Park I would not feel comfortable letting my dog loose and go without a leash because he’s very tiny and easily can fall into that lake or get under other big dogs and I’m not comfortable with that.
So no, this park isn’t for us and it’s also far.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! They are truly amazing. The facility is huge. Big pond for dog to swim. They even have a small pool in the small dog section. They have great accommodation for humans to rocking chairs hammock tree swing. They have tons of balls and launchers to throw the balls big to ring. They even have a nature walk that leads to an open field, where they have covered seating for humans with rocking chairs, fans, and misters. Lastly, I love that they have a human restroom when the office is open if you do the monthly pass it’s equivalent to two day passes so it’s a no-brainer and you can scan in even if the office is closed. There’s a vet facility in a grooming facility inside the building and they’re boarding area is huge with indoor and outdoor space. If you haven’t checked it out and you own a dog I highly recommend making time to drive out there and give it a shot so much fun. Oh yeah, they also have areas for you to wash your dog to lend you a towel if you need one, but if you do go, make sure you’re dressed to get Sandy and dirty it’s so much fun

Bailey and I had a great time at Poochie’s!! The park was clean, had plenty of tennis balls around, seating for humans, and plenty of room for puppers to explore! My supposed water dog, swam for the first time (successfully)!!! I even met another patron who shared her shampoo with me so Bailey smelled nice on the way home. Great experience! Looking forward to many more!
