Excellent first time kyack outing. Omro city employees made for an excellent experience.
Bathroom is seasonal. Nice horseshoe pits. Plenty of parking. Nice gazebo for a picnic. Plenty of river frontage to fish. Free kayak usage. Boat launch is nice, 2 ramps. Garbage cans available.
Nice little park to Launch boats and kayaks. Lots of green areas. Fishing is ok but not the best spot. There are restrooms and a boat launch area. There are also kayaks that can be rented from City hall.
There’s a boat launch here that is very nice. The river to fish here is fairly small but there are whitebass and walleyes that run through here. The issue is the timing for when the whitebass will run but when they do, it’s HOT!
