Quiet trail. Mostly grass walking with a nice pond. I was a little confused about having to duck under the roped off road and walk passed the dump, but it was easy to follow.

Before the entrance of the trail we were welcomed by dumpsters. Apparently people of Omro use this area to dump there trash. Moving on to the entrance ,trail was unkept grass was not mowed, we lost interest and came back. There were a lot of mosquitoes as well. Better sinage and mowing the trail would help.

There was about a quarter mile hike to the entrance of the trail from the parking area. There is a map of the trails. Trails are marked.

Nice peaceful and calming walk to the pound. There are a few benches around the pound to sit at and just relax. Just take it all in and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Some wild flower fields by the pound. There is also a platform/deck along the shoreline for better scenic views. There is a path that goes around the pound and paths that lead into the wooded areas.

The park was complete, silence, what we all need sometimes.
