We were able to go rollerblading & skating & skateboarding on this trail!!! Was a little tougher for the Rollerskates, but my blades and the cruiser did wonderfully from sidewalk to trail and back! Beautiful forested and Lake side skate! Was an epic adventure with the kids will definitely be back, cannot wait to check out more of the trail next time! You won’t be disappointed! CHECK OUT OMAHA!!!

We so enjoyed our hike around the east and west trails of Lake Zorinsky! The improvements they’ve made to the trails have definitely improved the safety and appearance of the trails. This lake continues to be one of our favorite areas to take Zion, our dog, for a hike.

If you are visiting Omaha and don’t want to run on the hotel treadmill. I highly recommend this spot for a run. The trail is all paved and is in the shade for about half the trail. It is actually a pretty wooded area with a few houses. It was pretty quiet at 8 in the morning. There were about 15 other people I passed. You can do a 3 mile or 4 mile loop or run the whole thing as there is a road that runs through the middle of the lake and you could just run across the road and run around half of the lake. There was some construction going on the road but they have made a way to run across the road construction. There are plenty of park benches to sit and rest on. There was also plenty of parking. You will enjoy this run.

Such a lovely place to go for a walk, run, bike ride or walk the dog. The water is peaceful and the other trail goers are very respectful.
