FAQ for Hanscom Park in Omaha Nebraska:
Located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska, this is one of my absolute favorite places to go in Omaha. I truly enjoy all of the wonderful memories. I have at this park and must say that. This definitely is a blessing beyond words. I sincerely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to visit this place. Lots of grill out options to choose from.
Disc golf course. Pond in the middle. Nice amount of trees for shades. Trails to walk dogs. Nice playground for the kids. Seating area. And nice open area for events and parties. I really enjoyed visiting this park. Something to do for everyone.
Fabulous park! Beautiful disc golf course
This park has a pond, tennis court, large playground, dog park, walking paths, a rentable pavillion building w/restrooms.I go to Hanscom Park for the disc golf course. It is a 9 hole course, and every hole is a par 3. It has a good variety of different terrain and obstacles. And you can throw 2 rounds (18) holes in around an hour to an hour and a half. I really enjoy playing on this this course. It’s nice to look at albeit for one issue. Some of the community that live around the park, walk by the park and use the park, seem to be okay with using it as a trash can. There is constantly litter spread throughout the entire park. The person that trims the course just mows right over it all. I pick up trash as I go, but it never seems to have an impact. So this is the reason I gave only 3 stars. If not for this problem, it would be an easy 5 stars for me.
Wish the place was as nice as it used to be. Where are the flowers? Why aren’t the park benches painted? Lots of improvement needed.
