Susan Picotte Park is a welcoming community park nestled in northwest Omaha, NE, at 151st & Locust St. Known for its clean and well-kept grounds, this dog-friendly park makes a perfect destination for pet owners seeking a relaxing spot to walk their dogs on-leash. The park features paved walking and jogging trails that wind through open green spaces, making it a favorite for pet-friendly outings, casual strolls, and enjoying the outdoors.
Families will love the variety of amenities available: modern playground equipment for children of all ages, a covered picnic shelter, benches throughout, and large open fields that are perfect for running, playing ball, or flying a kite. While Susan Picotte Park is not a dedicated off-leash dog park, it offers a pet-welcoming atmosphere and scenic paths where dogs are embraced as part of the community, as long as they’re on a leash. Great little park close to several neighborhoods. There is playground equipment for young children, a covered area with picnic tables both by the playground and down at the bottom of the park, soccer fields, and a baseball field and sidewalks intertwining that run up and down from the top to the bottom of the park for walking and jogging. Dogs are welcome and my coonhound loves to walk and sniff all the good smells, especially the squirrels!🐿❤️🐕
