We went here with our dog and it was a really nice dog park. It’s nice they have two areas: one for bigger dogs, and one for smaller dogs. There’s seating outside the fenced in park, and some smaller places to sit inside the dog park. They have turf covered places for dogs to climb up/play on, it’s mainly covered with sand, and there’s a water fountain with a bowl at the bottom to give your dog water. It’s a great dog park especially compared to some others in the area!

Well maintained, plenty of space and extra bags to pick up after your dog. Ginger didn’t want to leave!

This review isn’t for the dog park itself, as my dog and I love coming here to play. Rather, the low review is because of the lazy dog owners that don’t pick up their dog’s waste. There’s always poop everywhere and not in a corner or behind the rocks, but in plain view. Those lazy, irresponsible dog owners don’t pay attention to their dog, instead burying their face in their phone. It’s unfortunate, as the dog park is great but when you and your dog have to maneuver the minefield of dog poop, it takes away some of this park’s charm. The park employees aren’t responsible for cleaning up, despite what some lazy dog owners must believe.

A nice dog park, can get quite busy. Two separate parks, one for larger breeds, one for smaller dogs. Lots of activities for the puppies. Balls and sticks and water available. Some shade & human seating available. Downtown omaha, alongside larger park.

Hippie Dave is the best dog trainer I’ve come across so far. Him and Togo have become best friends. I ran into him again downtown at the dog park flexing his skills with another beautiful dog.
He told this dog to sit and it did a circle back and positioned himself to sit right beside him facing the camera, not just plop down where he was at. If you see hippie dave out walking a dog say hi! You might see him walking our wolfie around the parks or even inside stores that allow it.
