If you’re searching for a dog park in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, the Old Saybrook Community Playground offers a clean, easy-access green space perfect for a quick outing. Conveniently located at 80 Old Boston Post Rd, this park is especially appreciated for its quality playground equipment, including a rare tire swing, set among well-maintained grounds. It’s an ideal spot for families looking to combine a visit with their pets and children, although it’s important to note that the playground sits on school property and is closed when school is in session.

While the space tends to be on the smaller side and can get busy during peak times, visitors love the accessible, tidy environment. This park is on the small side, so it can easily get crowded. That said, the equipment has a good mix of quality playsets. Tire swings have become oddly rare, but there is one here. That was a fun nostalgia trip to play with my daughter on one.

Great playground, just keep in mind it’s on school property so it is closed when school is in session. Trask Park located on Trask Road is a better option.
