This is my current favorite beach in Connecticut. It’s extremely beautiful, very clean and also has a great trail which goes around in a loop. It takes about 40 minutes to finish the walk, it’s super worth it because most of it is along the beach and you get lovely sunset views. Ideal place for picnics too, there are tables right by the beach. Only drawback is that we have to take an Uber here since we don’t live in Greenwich and hence can’t get beach passes 🙁

One of the nicest beaches north of Virginia. So clean and well maintained. Water is so warm, calm, and shallow. Excellent for children.

Doesn’t have a boardwalk, but the quality of the beach is better than anything in NJ. No comparison.

Best feature of the beach is the shaded areas.

They have two break areas, with a place to even borrow a book to read.

It’s technically a public beach but it’s not so straightforward to gain entry. Need to pay for parking and per person.

Check out the photos below, one should be a panorama.

One of my favorite beaches due to location and lack of waves for lounging with little kiddos.

The concession is pretty good, and offers some food and ice cream options. They also sell sand toys and other beach items.

Bathrooms and outdoor showers are maintained well. Bbq areas for pick picks and the road loops down and back for leisurely bike rides.

Must obtain tickets prior to arrival if you do not already have a pass.

Lovely beach. Requires summer car pass NULL and NULL per person entry fee. The beach itself is clean and the water for the sound is calm and still- Perfect for little ones. We didn’t purchase food there but saw lots of options. The showers are deliciously warm but outdoors only. There are changing rooms. The facility was well maintained and clean.
