Great place to run or ride bikes without being exposed to vehicles.

Chris Terrill

Good place to start if you’re planning on running or biking around Draper Lake. The trails connect right up to the parking lot.

Observation Park is good parking with access to the trail, not a recreational park. The Trail around Stanley Draper is impressive, the MAPS funding made some big improvements to the Lake. Lots of hills great for training those muscles. This is no flat Hefner Trail. Be aware.
Check out the Marina during your loop for a climate controlled snack bar, store and lake info.

Excellent paved bike and hike trail. It does have some hills to strengthen your workout but not overly challenging. Another plus is that the the trail has distance markers which could be useful
If there was a necessity for a 911 call. Be especially careful when going through the recreation area

Draper lake has the toughest bike trails if you’re looking for a challenge. There are massively steep hills and slopes and about 13.75 miles from start to finish. If you want a casual ride, go to Hefner lake or use the river trail along i40.
