My son plays T-Ball at Merrel Medley Park, and it’s a great spot for that! The field is perfect for little ones just getting started, and we’ve really enjoyed our time there. The only improvement I’d suggest is a bit more mowing or weed eating near the gate, it’s been a little overgrown lately. But with all the recent rain, I totally understand it’s been tough to keep up. Overall, it’s a great community park for youth sports!
The park was really nice the only complaint that I have was the port-a-potty needed to be cleaned and maybe something to make it smell better.
While walking the Merrel Medley Park this evening, I noticed how its turned into a beautiful family oriented place. Parents and kids there, people on trails. It was very well kept and clean. There was laughter, sports and fun going on. I was Happy to be there!
This is a small park nearby some pretty safe seeming apartments. It’s small, but everything is in good repair and usually really clean. My kid loves playing here, running from the swings to the slide for hours at a time.
The sidewalks here are very wide, and the trail is shaped kind of like a figure 8 so if you are not yet ready to walk the full trail you can easily just do half. It is also very easy to find and parking is plentiful.
