Anytime I’m in the area of Oklahoma City. I’d like to park my camper at the spot and relax with a nice bottle of wine and eat dinner while watching the sunset. It’s an amazing place and definitely worth the drive.

Mostly baseball fields, but there are also some nice spots to take a walk or go for a picnic. The edge of the park sits right up against Hefner Lake and you can walk up to the lake’s edge. There are some bike paths and bike racks in the area too, so it would make a good spot for biking as well. The major downside is that there is quite a bit of trash on the edges of the gravel driving paths in many places which needs to be cleaned up.

This place is as peaceful as it is beautiful. Watching the fish jumping in and out of the water, and just feeling the wind off of the water was very relaxing. A perfect place to either have some alone time or take a romantic walk.

I love everything about lake Hefner.
I come here so often. When I was a child we came about once a month since it was so far. As an adult I live nearby, so I come almost daily.
I love looking at the lake and all the trees! This is the best lake that we have in my opinion in the Metro area.
There are a few playgrounds in the area. Golf, boats and all types of fun to be had.
I highly recommend coming and driving all the way around this lake.
Get out and enjoy the trails too!!!
