Older playground that is decent but could use updating. One covered pavilion with two tables. One uncovered table with handicap spot. Basketball court.
I was only able to spend a little time in this park because of another committment. It was a wonderful oasis in Jackson, Mississippi that I wish I could have spent more time in.
Park was very clean. Some minor graffiti, but nice neighborhood park. I like that the play gym is very far off of the main street and the other neighborhood kids were friendly.
Nice park, it’s nice to get to be in nature. I’m tired of the concert jungle. It’s time to build more to save the earth, underground houses, solar panels, wind generators for family homes, geothermal. If we wait on the government to help fix infrastructure, the world is screwed. Luckily I know I won’t be here to see much more of how the human race has become the black plague of our earth.
I love that the court is lit. The goal post, rim and net are decent. Honestly if there were a fence around the court to keep from having to chase the ball down hills and into the street or whatnot this would be one of my favorite courts in the city. The ground of the court is level, it’s only a half-court but has the lines painted. There are benches to sit and watch or wait for the next game and a playground nearby for the kid when he gets bored of watching the old people shoot the basketball.
