I saw large cranes flying around the lake. One was pure white. Park was clean and quiet. Took pictures of a turtle and saw fish coming to the surface to eat. Pretty place.

From playing at the park with the little kids to take him to see the airplane clear up the fishing down the river or grilling out not very many city parks have all this packed into one place plus camping

Still a go-to. Easy to locate and get to. Always a plus to be able to take a walk and see a flock of geese or ducks. You never know what you might see when it comes to wildlife. On one visit we watched a young beaver or otter stroll right in front of us, at the creek area. From one side of the creek and over the bridge/road to the other. My grandson was so amazed and shocked. He had never seen one before. He asked if it was a dog.
