If you’re searching for a quiet and inviting spot to enjoy some outdoor time with your family, Odessa Community Park in Odessa, Florida should be on your list. Nestled off the main routes, it’s a friendly, small community park famous with locals for its playground and tennis courts. While not explicitly labeled as a dog park, many residents bring their pets for strolls, as the green spaces and walking paths here are pet-friendly and welcoming.
This Odessa dog-friendly park features a charming boardwalk, a shaded pavilion, and an open playground ideal for kids over five. The space is perfect for owners who want to walk, socialize, and relax in a peaceful setting with their dogs—just be mindful of leash etiquette. Odessa Community Park’s location offers both accessibility and a sense of seclusion, making it perfect for regular walks and neighborhood meetups.
The small playground was decent, but definitely could be remulched. Equipment was older, but still in decent shape. Overall probably more fun for kids over 5.
The tennis courts are fine and it’s a cute park but there is no sign posted limiting play to an hour when others are waiting to play – there should be IMHO!
An interesting little park you’d never know was there if you weren’t told by locals or Google maps
Great little park with an awesome playground and tennis courts and a little boardwalk and pavillion.
My husband and myself live 5 mins away from the park and we going to a weekly meeting. It’s become part of our life. We also have two babies that love the playground.
