Like everything in this area you need a key to get in. Sheesh! There were 2 people there, each with a dog. You’d think one of them might have offered to let my dog and I in. Seriously, it’s broad daylight and neither of us are that scary!!!!

I have passes to the new OC and this park now. I won’t be renewing the OC one next year. I don’t usually like mulch parks but this one is pretty well maintained and feels cleaner than others I’ve been to. So many toys available and I appreciate the tools to help fill in the holes too.

I recently visited Ocean Pines Dog Park during my vacation with my furry friend. I found this place on Google while searching for a nearby dog park. As I drove there excitedly, I was shocked to discover that this is a private facility and membership is required on restricted government property. This policy excludes travelers and their pets who simply want to enjoy the park. As a taxpayer in this state, I find it unfair that my taxes are funding a place that is not open to all. The park even seemed unwelcoming with security cameras everywhere. I urge the Governor of Maryland to investigate this exclusionary policy at Ocean Pines Dog Park.

Nice place. People arent so friendly though. Why call it a public dog park when it is a members only park??

THIS IS A PRIVATE DOG PARK. Not sure why people are so elitist when it comes to their dogs. I let my dog walk to the fence to at least touch noses with the other dogs; the owners were inside sitting in a circular. They all saw me and no one invited us in. Apparently their sense of self worth is tied to excluding lonely puppies from their precious park? Pretty pathetic.
