Quite difficult to find in Surfside. Not much here, I prefer the beach.

Bathrooms and wifi with a large outdoor covered cooking/entertaining area. Pretty cozy. No toys for kids. More of an adult chill area.

Was smaller than expected, more barren than expected, and more…. Drab than expected but we did go at the end of summer so I’m not terribly surprised. And yes the yappy dogs are all over but it’s not a huge deal

Cute park. Clean restrooms. Nice covered picnic area with wood burning fireplace. Horseshoe pit. BBQ pit. Two picnic tables. Well maintained and clean. I suppose you could launch a kayak from here and row a short distance through a canal to get out to the actual lake if you wanted to. Probably a lot of mosquitos 🦟 here during mosquito season, so bring bug spray. The neighbors across the street from the park have a yappy dog who will bark at you the entire time you’re there 🙄 so that’s a drawback if you’re looking for peacefulness…
