Always a necessary stop when I visit family in the area. Everything is consistently delicious! My favorite meal is:

I brought my friend here for the first time who has never experienced windmill. It was also his first trip to Asbury Park. Of course The Windmill is Asbury Park! The staff was amazingly patient as he was amazed by all the thousand choices, but even with that he developed his own first time, hot dog of which they courteously made for him.
Absolutely a must! Food incredible and I want to thank Rob and his staff and recommendations. Flame grilled hot dog awesome. Burger fries so tasty! Run don’t walk! 5 stars
I had such an amazing experience here stopping in for lunch with my mom and 2-year-old son. As soon as we walked in, Juanita greeted us with a smile and before we knew it, we were engaging in a conversation. The food was delicious, as always, but the entire experience was great. Juanita even talked to her diners as we all ate our meals. 5 stars for sure, and I’ll most definitely be back to this location in particular!
Absolutely incredible. Tasty beyond reason. Fresh fired on the grill right in front of us, and we waited only 4 minutes for a meal that was just amazing. Appropriate amount of toppings on everything, especially the onions on that dog. The bite, the crack of the skin on the windmill dog, and that nice char on the burger patty, with a soft flakey bun. Flawless.
Shout out to Ocean Grove Windmill for a perfect first experience here, we’ll be back!!!!
