My dog had a good time. Make sure your dog is friendly because this spot gets busy.

This is a small hidden gem. If your having trouble finding it walk to the back of the fishing pier parking lot to find it tucked in the corner next to the national guard headquarters.
My dog loved it. It’s not a large beach area but big enough for the dogs to run around and exercise. It was my dogs first time at the beach and I took him every morning around 7am, there was maybe 1 or 2 other dogs there half the time I went but they never stayed long.
According to the GPS we were in the right place but there was no access to the pet beach. There were no signs the pet beach was closed just signs letting you know not to be there at certain times. What looked like the access ramp was damaged and fenced. We walked through a small park and looked down on what we think was the pet beach but all fenced in. We ended up going to the beach and stayed near the jetty with our dog. No one bothered us. It was before 10am and it wasn’t very crowded. The picture I’m including is NOT the pet beach but by the jetty.
