Located at 100 Oxford Dr, Koda Dog Park is a popular destination for local dog owners seeking a well-maintained, friendly environment for their pets to play and socialize. The park features separate, fenced-in areas for small and large dogs with lush lawns, making it an ideal spot for dogs of all sizes to safely romp off-leash. A winding walkway around the park provides a pet-friendly trail perfect for those looking to enjoy a stroll with their furry friend before playtime. The park is wheelchair accessible, and there is plenty of parking available.
Known for its cleanliness and thoughtful amenities, Koda Dog Park is adjacent to the Nunn-Wilson Family Park, allowing kids to enjoy a playground and water attraction nearby while dogs play. Owners will appreciate the availability of picnic tables, restrooms, and seating areas. While the park doesn’t offer much natural shade, it stands out as a dog-friendly space within Oakley, California, where community and canine companions come together. Please note the park can get busy during peak times, and there are no shade structures, so plan visits accordingly, especially during hot days.
My little guy was looking a little lonely … but only until other dogs arrived a few minutes later and the festivities got underway.
This is a friendly park — owners and pets all get along. Another plus: people are conscientious about picking up after their dogs.
The lawns in both the large- and small-breed enclosures are well-maintained and inviting for animals that love to romp.
Terrible place for a dog park in my opinion clogs the road constantly for folks who love there city should’ve left it as a basin honestly and there are much better parks than this one and better dog parks too also The baseball field feels really stupid and obsolete like why did they even bother putting that there when there’s a giant baseball field in Brentwood already…? I don’t know this whole place seems stupid and useless and Iwosh it was never built.
I do love this park and never had a bad experience until today. The left side park needs a sign change from “all dogs” to “large dogs” watch out for owners that bring there small dogs on that side. It’s too dangerous for a 10 lb chihuahua running around with dogs ten times its size.
Great dog park. Different areas for Different size dogs! Been going here for a couple years mostly everyone who visits is friendly and polite. Also if u have kids theres a wonderful playground and water attraction. But i like cause its separate from dog area.
Very nice neighborhood park. It is clean and well maintained. Different play areas for all dogs, small dogs, or agilty training. A walkway winds through and around the park which is helpful in walking your furbaby before playtime. There are no large trees or shade structures so it will be very hot in the summer. Adjacent to Nunn-Wilson family park so there are areas for your children, too.
