Very nice campground! Quiet and cheap. The host is very nice. There is a lovely and public lake that is closed at 8 pm. The problem is that there are no showers and there is a pit toilet.

Nice beach and clean parks. We were out that way fishing with the family and we can’t wait to go back to camp.

Stopped here for two nights and three days the first week of June 2023. Doing business at Toyota in Princeton. Overall a great place for quiet and some great views. Small campground that is extremely cheap with nice sites. Only water and electric is available. There is a dump station at the entrance/exit of the campground. If you wish to have a shower and flushing style toilets you better have them in your camper. These would be nice additions as an improvement. Nice walk path around the lake and has a beach with swimming allowed. A newer disc golf course is installed and saw a few people playing it. The camp hosts are full time onsite and very nice. Campground is well maintained. I would stay there again.

I just heard about New Lake Campground. We took a drive there to check it out & I have to say overall I think I like it. They do not have a bathhouse but they do have a few primitive style bathrooms. They as well have a beach, sand volleyball & a disc golf course! You can fish and kayak/boat. They do not have sewer hookup either but they do have a dump station. There are a couple little playground areas for kids as well, it seemed to be pretty kid friendly. I didn’t see or hear any animals but I didnt see any signs that discouraged them either. We will probably be checking into them more.
