Beautiful view of the bay; what’s not to love, this takes you to treasure island; grounds a person seeing the din and dan of cars yet the sky and the ocean stand still.
As you bike, you feel as if the expanse of the sky and the ocean is all yours; to soak in, to marvel at, and to rest amidst all the human activity in the city.
For those looking for a respite from the city, look no further! 🙂

Great path from Berkeley/Emeryville to Treasure Island. The path does have close hours. Plan ahead.

It is a good trail for waking, running and biking. This trail leads you to the Bay Bridge and Treasure Island. It is safe.

Great adventure and an exhilarating bike ride. We may a couple stops to rest our legs on the way to treasure island. The ride back was a breeze as it was downhill. We enjoyed the cruise and breeze on the way back. We didn’t enjoy the fumes from the freeway but overall we enjoyed it and will likely ride again when we return to the area. We also enjoyed rented Lyft bikes, so the ride was 4.5 miles each way. Back and forth, the ride was close to 2 hours

Nice, paved trail from Emeryville to Treasure Island, with amenities and views all the way. The trail is mostly exposed so be prepared for wind, cold, sun and perhaps inclement weather. The ramp up on the bridge is very manageable for most. The distance is about 4 miles from IKEA to the island.
