Weltz Conservation Area
Weltz Conservation Area is a quaint, less-known park in Monmouth County featuring about 1.5 to 2 miles of level trails through open fields and wooded areas. It offers a peaceful and easy hiking experience and is dog-friendly, making it a favorite local spot for quiet strolls and nature walks. The park is wheelchair accessible and includes picnic tables, making it suitable for families with children as well.

Today I was in this place, I will never return. It is infested with ticks. I removed more than 10 from my dog, apart from the ones I had on me.
One of the less known Monmouth county parks. Good for quick hike through, visited in winter. Probably would look more impressive in spring/ early summer.
Nice place to walk your dog. It’s a small quaint area approximately 1 1/2 – 2 miles of trails. Features level grounds, so it is an easy stroll through open fields and wooded areas.
