Great Fields for youth soccer

One of the best soccer fields in the area. Nice paved half mile walking track around the field – leashed, dogs are allowed (but not on fields of course). Beautiful view. Well done South Fayette!

We love Preservation Park, for soccer the top fields are the best. Hopefully they can figure out the bottom field drainage issues soon. The walking trail around the whole park is easy and great for dogs too.

Pretty nice overall vibe.
I have walked and made laps around the walking path multiple times. I would rate this place pretty high on the laid-back scale. In typical Pittsburgh area fashion you feel out in the country only 15 minutes from downtown. Preservation Park is located in the Oakdale/Renerdale suburb area. Park is also at the top of a PA hill. The walkway is all asphalt and is approximately a 1/3 mile loop. Location is a relatively scenic area. Surrounding area full of, trees, fields, farm land, etc. Met my friends for a few different walks in the fall. I would definitely walk here again.

Really great, mostly flat, paved walkway. It’s a half mile loop, so you can regulate how far you want to go by how many trips around you take. It’s not unusual for dog owners to have their dogs off leash at times, so have some readiness for that.
