Oak Park & Bark - Dog Park (Membership required)

Oak Park & Bark is a large, clean, and well-maintained dog park open to Oak Park residents with membership. It features a spacious off-leash field where dogs can run freely, benches for seating, and ample parking. Access is controlled via key fob entry. Visitors should be cautious of some debris potentially present on the ground and be mindful of the less secure perimeter fencing along the industrial border. The park is popular for its clean environment and adherence to rules by members.

Larger than I thought it would be. Very well kept. And most important, dogs loved it!
A large field where you can run around off leash. That’s all a dog could ask for.
Heads up that membership is required. Large space, lots of random balls & frisbees to play with, doggie bags available. Well kept & clean. There’s a Parking lot.
Our dog really loves how much space there is to run around. The park is always clean, and it really seems like everyone follows the rules and cleans up after themselves and their dogs.
Super clean, new dog park in 2023. Must be Oak Park resident at time of posting this. Gate is key fob access only. Nice benches throughout.
Update: Tried accessing the park on a weekday afternoon and the key fob wasn’t working for me or another member and we had to call someone to come let us in. After a couple weeks since my last visit the ground conditions are more visible. It appears the site was a former dumping ground for the industrial district that the park borders along. You’ll find some debris in the grass such as glass. The fencing that borders the industrial/commercial building is not very secure so be mindful if your dog is curious about the perimeter.
