Beautiful dog park but nothing to denote it was members only until we arrived. I now have a disappointed pup that was excited to play. They don’t offer day passes for non members / out of towners. I’m not willing to pay NULL and wait a few days to be approved to let my dog play for 30-40 minutes. We’ll find another dog park. Just wish they made it more obvious it was members only so we didn’t drive all the way here before finding out.
Not a free park – members only!
Park looks lovely, but here I am on a road trip and need a place to exercise my dog so she doesn’t get the zoomies at 3am in the hotel… Locals may find it worthwhile. Travelers probably not so much.
Very clean, fenced-in dog park. I like the fact that they have a separate side for the smaller pups like mine.
There is a nice water fountain and metal bowls set around for pups to get a drink.
There are plenty of places for them to explore and make new friends.
The picnic table is great also.
They provide poop bags and a clean garbage can to throw away the waste.
There is a playground across the street and they have a port a potty near the locking gate.
The other review is not true, I am from Chicago and pay a NULL non-resident annual fee(NULL resident).Great dog park with a decent space. Baggies and water are provided on site.
I have a small dog and although they have a separate enclosure for him it isn’t used.i have had two instances where larger dogs have been aggressive towards my dog and I’ve had to take my dog to the vet once because of it once. I’m not saying that’s always the case most dogs there are great but all it takes is one person bring a dog that isn’t.
I love the idea and as I said most people are very responsible but all it takes is one act of aggression.
