Central Memorial Park, located in the heart of Oak Hill, Ohio, is a beautifully maintained green space with a community-centered atmosphere. Renowned for its accessibility, the park features wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, making it inclusive for all visitors. With amenities such as a playground, a shelter house with picnic tables and grills, a gazebo, and plenty of walking paths, it’s a local favorite for families and those seeking an inviting outdoor space. The park is also famous for the Village’s largest acorn attraction and for hosting community events year-round.
While dogs are allowed at Central Memorial Park, recent feedback suggests it may not be considered strictly pet-friendly for off-leash play; be sure to keep your pup leashed while enjoying the strolls around the well-kept grounds. Its tall metal fencing offers peace of mind for families with kids, and the wide-open spaces are perfect for leashed walks, making it a pleasant destination for dog owners searching for dog-friendly parks in Oak Hill, Ohio.

I love to come over here because it’s right by my house but also because I remember being real little and grandma always walking me over there when the school was there. They used to have yard sales and events and all that kind of stuff so I don’t know it just makes me reminisce about her more but good ways and they do a lot to keep it and they do an extraordinary job about it
Kids loved it and had a lot of fun. Nice place to set and eat.
I was there after the Oak Hill Christmas parade to see the lighting of the lights in Central Park. Wow, they have worked hard and put together something for people of all ages to experience.
Very nice park located in the heart of the Village of Oak Hill, at the site of the former Central Elementary School. It features a beautiful gazebo, shelter house with plentiful picnic tables and a grill, a walking track, playground, and green space. It is enclosed by a handsome-looking, tall, metal fence much to the delight of parents with small children.
