Nice park but no electricity so no outdoor fans on a hot day like this

Awesome and huge park! Was out there for a temporary setup disc golf tournament for my daughter. Was a prime location for it, hopefully could be a permanent location for another disc golf course…. great area for it with tons of land!

When talking about which playground to go to with my kids we don’t usually use the official name, we clarify like “the one with the big slide” or “the one with the spinning spider web”.

This one is ” the one with a lot of monkey bars”. It also has a log roller which is pretty unique. I love that it’s surrounded by the forest and we saw a huge hawk last time we were there.

If I had to say anything negative it would be in this wood surrounding next to the park there is an open area that goes towards a pretty steep drop off into a small river. For elementary size kids that’s fine, but with a rascally toddler it was not ideal.

It looks like a good park for sports and playgrounds. There is a 1-mile asphalt walking and biking path, which just goes around the fields, and is all in the open sun. With the sun reflecting off the pavement, it’s pretty hot on a warm day.

There is a smaller path near the playground that has better scenery and some shade, but it’s not very long. There are shade pavilions for gatherings, or just to eat lunch.

Nice park with athletic fields and pavilions. I supplied a photo booth from my company Top Flyte Party Rentals for an awards banquet
