🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
If you’re searching for a dog-friendly outdoor destination in Novi, Michigan, Jessica’s Splashpad is a popular local spot. Conveniently located at 25805 Beck Rd, this park features wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, making it inclusive for all visitors. While primarily designed as a splash pad and playground for children, the park is known for its cleanliness, public restrooms, and plenty of benches and seating.
One important note for dog owners: dogs are not permitted within the fenced splashpad area. This rule helps maintain a safe environment for children at play and is something to consider if you’re planning a visit with your furry friend. The park has limited shaded areas, so be sure to bring your own umbrella or hat during sunny days.
Just be aware you may not bring a dog within the fenced area, which I did not realize. In retrospect, it makes sense, I just wish it had been clear when I first looked this place up. I was nursing my young dog in the unlocked air conditioned car over and over instead of enjoying my children the full extent of our time there and obviously would’ve just left him home if I had realized it. Otherwise, my kids loved it. I do wish there had been more shaded options as a skin cancer survivor. But we will be back.
Loved this splash pad last year, but haven’t returned because there is zero shade.
Limited water play options. Decent for kids upto age 5. No shaded seating.
Nice clean splash pad. Plenty of chairs and benches. There are some areas with little shade so in sunny days may want to bring a shade umbrella. There are showers and restrooms. Sign says splash pad capacity is 100.
Great splash pad! Clean, fun, and perfect for kids to cool off on a hot day. Only downside is there’s no shade, so bring hats or umbrellas if you plan to stay a while.
