If you’re searching for a dog park in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, the Norwood Young America Sports Complex stands out for its clean, well-maintained fields, ample parking, and family-friendly environment. While primarily known for its baseball and softball fields, the complex also offers open green spaces where you and your dog can stretch your legs. Visitors appreciate the manicured grounds, concession stands, and a small play area, making it a one-stop spot for families, kids, and their pets.
Though not a dedicated fenced dog park, this pet-friendly complex is a welcoming choice for responsible dog owners looking for a spot to walk their pups around the park or enjoy social moments between games. There’s a playground for kids and several bleachers and spots for seating, while shaded areas may be limited since some trees have been removed. Spacious parking makes visits convenient, especially during off-peak times. Be aware that restrooms are limited to portable toilets.
I give it 4 just because there was no flushing toilets but really nice fields and dugouts!
Clean buildings and nice grounds with a cute little park.
Great local ball field that can host multiple softball games and large field/ for baseball. The legion does a great job on concessions for town ball and the softball teams frequently have concessions too.
Park is still clean although they have removed the trees that we usually to hang out under for the snakes. It’s a great Pokie Stop though
We had a great visit. The play area is fabulous for between games or the littles. The fields are well-maintained, the concession stand was great. There are a few bleachers available, but we brought chairs. There’s a lot of parking, but we did find that there are tons of cars during the teen games. I wish there had been another portable toilet… but what can you do, those things are high traffic and they get a little yucky.
