Good dog park. The owners are all very responsible and the dog crowd is always very playful and friendly.
Occasionally people will bring balls and pools for the dogs to enjoy. Plenty of shade and space for fetch.
Separate area for smaller dogs and another area for kids.
Didn’t take any pictures this time but will definitely come back and share when I do. This is a hidden gem in downtown Norwich 😍 it’s clean, there are THREE areas so that non-dog friendly pups still have somewhere to go. The large dog area is extremely adequate considering how most are insulting in size. I’d be comfortable bringing my XL dogs like danes, mastiffs, etc here. They had ample seating, there were restrooms, they even have a water hose so no need to plan ahead 😊
This has to be one of the worst dog parks my husband and I have ever been to. And we’ve been to a lot. We are not local. We were taking a day trip and based on good reviews stopped by to give the dogs a break. We came here about a week ago and let me just say the place is disgusting. The grass wasn’t mowed, the people were rude that were there and at least two men that were sitting in their own lawn chairs that they obviously brought were smoking cigars. It felt very awkward. It felt like we were dropping in on someone else’s backyard bbq. There were picnic tables but everyone had their dogs with them on the tables making it hard to sit anywhere. No dogs playing together at all. There were also large dogs on the small dog side which is where we were. Totally not ok as our dogs were nervous and scared. There was also a random small pool filled with water that one particular dog kept jumping in and out of and then jumping up on me and my husband. Don’t get me wrong we are huge dog people. But that’s not cool. This place was just gross. Not maintained and clearly no one there cares about the place or the rules. Never ever again!
Large park space that we never got to really check out because the park gates were frozen shut, although we were able to squeeze into the small dog space.
Water during May-Oct at the entrance. Bags and trash… and a separate section for kids where no dogs are allowed.
Pup had a great time and got so much energy out. Very disappointed people don’t seem to be able to clean up after themselves. But overall a great place for my dog to get her energy out and she always has a blast with the other dogs.
