Am so glad Norton saved this land! Original Crane farm dates be back to the 1700s!
This is a nature trail and makes for a nice walk. The paths are pretty short. You can explore the whole area in under an hour. It does tend to get a bit muddy and wet at times. People definitely use it for horse back riding, so sometimes it’s a little torn up from that. There’s no hunting or motorized vehicles allowed. Overall it’s a nice quiet place for a short walk.
Not sure how to rate it because I don’t know if I’m comparing it too other trails in Norton or all over New England. It’s cute, clean, and has a wooden bench by the water. Though there isn’t much for trails, maybe a half mile total, and one part goes within 30 yds of a house.
Quiet walking trail. Perfect to bring my dog that needs a less busy trail.
Decent. Not completely flat. Nice and woodsy. I’m used to much longer trails and a lot more elevation changes so this seemed short to me. Took about 15 minutes to go along the whole of the blue trail.
