Veterans Park

Visiting from out of town, we are very impressed with the playground (enclosed) and huge variety of athletic options at this park. Tennis, skateboarding, lacrosse, soccer, baseball/softball, and fields we couldn’t even see. An added bonus is the clean bathroom that is available.

Great hoop courts…bring broom after rains though as it will puddle a bit (see photos)
This park has great turf fields, ample parking, and a big skate park. As we saw first hand, the local cops and ambulances respond quickly to injuries in the skate park. Two separate restroom facilities are a bonus.
Used to ride my mini-bike here and before that my Grandfather would take my brother & myself for walks here when we were very young.
The renovation’s over the past 50 years are outstanding.
Excellent sports areas.
I now pass by and am amazed at how great this place is. Fields are busy and well lit even well after dark.
Looks very safe and up to date.
