Northport Rail Trail Entrance
The Northport Rail Trail Entrance offers a scenic, tree-lined walk through a former rail spur, perfect for a tranquil and easy stroll or run. This dog-friendly trail is accessible with a wheelchair accessible parking lot and suitable for children. While the trail features natural beauty and shade, it has some uneven surfaces and areas where ticks may be present, so caution is advised. It provides an excellent way to enjoy nature along a historic railway right of way.

Very exciting and scenic!
Non-descript, you’ll miss it if you’re not careful. A great way to add a little ‘trail’ work to your run or walk. Great use of an old RR right of way.
Short, sweet, easy trail that provides a tranquil walk or run with easy access on either end. No elevation; but not ideally accessible for anyone requiring ambulatory assistance so some uneven surfaces along the way.
Tree lined walk through a former rail spur. Dog friendly but did find two ticks on our pup so stay close to the center of the trail. Could be much safer and better utilized by high schoolers heading to Northport High with a crosswalk/HAWK signal at the northern end of the trail though.
