Just hiked for the first time, Jan 2025. 0.977 mi up to vista over city in just under 45min with gabbing and some route guesswork. Class IV rd was snow covered with some slabs of glare ice underneath but ample edges without ice. One of us used just boots and the other had spikes. Both did fine if we paid attention and detoured around ice. Gorgeous day.

Great Vista of Bellow’s Falls. Trail is ho-hum as it’s just a steep dirt access road to cell towers.

Beautiful view of Bellows Falls with Stratton, Killington and Okemo in the Distance. Quick but fairly steep hike to the top. A few cool lookout points and some fun rock features.

Beautiful view of Vermont from across the river! Still not peak season for fall foliage yet – would wait ~1.5 weeks. The trail is an access road, so it’s gravel for most of the way. When you reach the towers, there’ll be a fork in the road – go right and you’ll see a clearing with a viewpoint of Bellows Falls. Hope this helps!

I’ve hiked to Table Rock more times than I can count. Growing up in Bellows Falls made this one of my favorite hikes, and it never disappoints. The view is gorgeous and on a clear day it feels like it goes forever.
The hike itself isn’t too hard, which makes it great for a last minute hike or for people looking to get a good workout without going overboard.
It’s also a great hike for dogs! It always tuckers them out. 🙂
