Knapp Road Bark Park is a spacious and well-maintained dog park located conveniently at 1101 Knapp Rd in North Wales, PA. This community-favorite destination features multiple fully enclosed grassy fields, dedicated spaces for both small and large breeds, and a clever rotational area to keep the grounds fresh and healthy. Your dog will love the freedom of running off-leash in open expanses while you enjoy being part of a friendly pet owner community. The park’s easy accessibility and proximity to local shops, including the nearby PetSmart, make it an ideal stop for area residents searching for a top-rated dog park in Montgomery County.
The park’s amenities include stocked poop bag stations, separate play zones for differently sized dogs, and some agility equipment for extra fun and exercise. Although there’s limited shade—mainly a canopy over a picnic table—Knapp Road Bark Park is praised for its cleanliness and ample room for dogs to socialize and expend energy. While water is not provided on-site (bring your own!), visitors consistently highlight the park’s welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity for dogs to forge new friendships. If you’re seeking a large, pet-friendly space for off-leash play and socialization, this is one of the best dog parks near North Wales, Pennsylvania!
PRO: Good location, easy to find. Huge fields of grass with separation for small breeds.
CON: The only shade is a small canopy over the one picnic table. Must bring your own water.
Great location that opened up just down the road for the local Pet Smart.
The location has stocked poop bags, along with separate playing fields for small and large dogs.
There are a few agility training toys as well for the dogs to play around with.
Seems to be a good local community already forming here with friendly dogs and people.
Overall I was extremely pleased with the park and experience. I highly recommend stopping by with your pup!
Good sized dog park. It’s divided up into 3 fully enclosed areas. One is always inaccessible due to grass regrowth time. It’s genius.
People are nice and aren’t wussy. They know their dogs and handle all other dogs with respect.
I bring my pups here regularly to let them run and play some fetch. They love the big, open space this park provides. There are separate areas for the big dogs and for the smaller pups.
This dog park is amazing! It’s so spacious and love how it’s sectioned into small, large and rotational. My pup went to the small section and lots of space to play in. She loved running around and there’s tennis balls for the dogs to play with. The dog park is also clean and well kept. While visiting, we went twice in one weekend since she loved running around. Also met other friendly dogs that my pup loved playing with. Definitely recommend!
